Who's the most surprising rookie in the NFL this year?
Seeing as I don't watch football, I'd say all of them. Pick any rookie you like, and I can honestly state that "I didn't expect him to do so well this year"
Congratulations to Al Gore for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
He's won the Peace Prize, the Oscar and an Emmy, all in the same year, I'd say he's doing pretty well :)
I have pics of Hover Exit training available at Flickr. For those not in the know, Hover Exits are when you get out of a helicopter when it hasn't actually landed on the ground (not including rappelling, that's another story).
The training took place at the Vernon Fire Zone base, sometime in early August.

I am an organ donor. If I'm dead, I won't need that heart or kidney or whatever. I think of it as donating bits of my body that are needed to goodwill. I think people that don't do it probably have weird religious hangups about it.

Sadly, all of the photos were taken on the last day, so no piccies of the helicopter or the controlled burn the day before. :(
