My first car was an '84 Plymouth Reliant. It had no guts and no style, but it was as reliable as hell.

I walked into the local sporting goods store looking for one of those uber-cool mesh shirts from the 80's. The clerk told me, "Sorry, all we have are these shoes". "I'll take em!"
Just kidding, I piced these up to replace my old pair of New Balance runners that were totally shot.
During my lunch break at work one of my co-workers approached me asking, "Say, there's something different about you today". I said, "Huh? I don't think so?", I wasn't wearing anything out of the ordinnary. "Oh, it's your hair, you braided it today!".
I was like "Oh yeah, I totally forgot about it". I don't usually braid my hair when working at the call centre, so it didn't even cross my mind. I added "... and women get upset if men don't notice their hair, here I am not noticing my own hair even though I was the one who braided it. It's really nothing personal".
She said "So it really is true" and went back to man the phones (so to speak).

I read in the papers on Monday that the bolts for the Titanic were basically made of slag, which broke easily.

I was chatting with my cousin Chantelli-sticks earlier today. MMA = Mixed Martial Arts. Before that it was boxing, and before that it was Tae-bo. Apparently she just likes to hit things.
